I will share a simple yet powerful Call Script which is guaranteed to make 9 out of 10 existing customers happy!!! Any day.

PS: Here I am talking about any client who got connected with you and may not have given you any business but his details are there in your database.

My Pain:

At times we plan to talk to our clients in our database especially on lean days but not sure what to talk and end up not calling. Don’t we?

My experience:

Here’s what I do on a lean day

I plan the day setting a target of touching at least 50 clients from my database in a day.

My calling period is 10 am to 12.30 am & 3 PM to 5.30 PM.

Before calling I spend time seeing all details of the client on when we connected last?

Did he give any booking in the past?

And read last conversation in our CRM/emails if any?

Most important. I keep a scribble pad next to me and jot down all details.

Once done. Here I go…

Nisha: Good morning am I speaking to Mr Zuber Khan?

(Please be loud, slow and clear in your communication. Read full name. Reading out complete name gives confidence to the customer that it’s not a spam caller as the caller knows his full name.)

Customer: Yes, who is it?

Nisha: Well, I am Nisha Calling from TrustedStay.

I do not know if you recall, way back in 2018 we were in touch regarding your requirement of serviced apartment in Mumbai (pause).

(Again, stress on clear, slow and loud communication. It’s important to communicate the following two elements, your brand and business. Coz at times when you do not communicate your company or do not communicate clearly, the customer will get irritated, will interrupt and seek clarification which company? I did not understand, and if that happens you have killed your call.)

Customer: No frankly, I can’t recall.

Nisha: Anyway, we were just trying to connect with our old contacts, to know your wellbeing. By the way was also checking my database, is this email still your active one? – zuber*******@yahoo.co.in?

(Reading out the email id reinforces confidence in the customer’s mind that the executive and company is a genuine one as she is reading out the correct email id and the second objective is to get the new active mail id as many have changed to Gmail. It is not important that you have to talk about future bookings or business just a hello is also good to go)

 Customer: Yes its correct

 Nisha: Thank you for updating, I will be sending you a special offer through mail,  please stay in touch.

Once call is over, update your CRM and follow-up with mail as under.
